Description: Whether you're developing novel methodologies, creating innovative solutions, or considering commercialization of your research, being aware of intellectual property rights is essential for your academic and professional development. Imagine you have a great idea for a new product, you prove that the idea is working in the lab and now you want to bring it to the market. How can you make sure that your idea is not used by a competitor? The answer would be: by intellectual property rights. The workshop provides you with an overview on intellectual property rights, showing how scientific results can be protected.
Goals:
- Get an overview of different intellectual property rights (IPR).
- Learn how the process from the idea to a patent works.
- Become aware of career opportunities related to IPR.
