The course is designed for all with responsibility for the good research practices of others, like university teachers who want to enable and motivate their students to good scientific practice, Research team leads who would like to pass on their knowledge of Good Scientific Practice to others, PhD programm heads and others supervising early career researchers, Ombudspersons at universities and research institutions, People in the research environment who are interested in research integrity issues.
Course Content
GSP infrastructure in Austria and beyond
Research integrity: Developments and current topics and issues incl.
o authorship and publication
o data management in the age of open science
o responsibility of supervisors and supervisées
o responsibilites and opportunities at the institutional level
o research misconduct: what happened so far and what´s new with AI
Teaching and facilitating integrity in research:
o through different channels
o using various methods
o for diverse target audiences
