Strategic Career Planning

Target group: all researchers with a PhD

Sep 26 (Fri), 9am-1pm: Strategic Career Planning: Workshop with Margarethe Hubrath (SZ 15.22, Universitätsstraße 15) 

Content: half-day with expert in academic careers and tenure paths. This offering includes prior access to online learning environment and a 45-minute 1:1 coaching if needed.

Participants will have the opportunity to analyse their previous achievements and strengths systematically and to determine their development potential. Different fields of competency will be examined to analyse achievements to date and to formulate goals for one’s further career development. Individual preferences and motivational factors as well as the situation in their special field will be considered. Thus, the workshop will provide an opportunity to reflect on specific academic career strategies as well as on questions related to the development of one’s personal life alongside academic commitments. 

This workshop will run as part of the Collegial Development Programme 2025/26 and it is open to all interested researchers. Registration via ESRA: Trainings
